Lior Herchkovitz‘s photograph was created on the kurkar and clay ridge stretching along the Cliff Beach in Tel Baruch. Creating the image in a place where vehicle tracks leave their mark characterizes the gradually disappearing nature between sea and city, and examines human intervention in the landscape. The dichotomous division of the photograph creates an empty space – that fragile area between completeness and disintegration, between existence and disappearance.
