Adva Kremer processes masterpieces from art history using contemporary digital tools such as data analyst, then sends them to be woven on Jacquard looms using traditional textile techniques, as part of her exploration of how art works are consumed and valued. This work is based on Gustav Klimt’s portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, which carries a complex history of provenance.
