Valeria Monis’s works connect the underground art of Soviet Russian prison tattoos with traditional porcelain, uniting two opposing worlds that hold equal importance in Russian culture. The plate was created especially for the album cover of the artist Eje Eje, hand-painted on a handmade ceramic casting and is partially glazed.
