Tamar Branitzky‘s work offers an original and poetic perspective on time, decay, and renewal. Made from old atlases from the 1930s, she used the final pages of indexes. These neglected pages are given new appreciation through sensitive textile processing of sewing and wear, creating a dialogue between the observing eye and the dreaming heart, questioning preservation and renewal, text and texture.
