Francesco Meda, born in Italy in 1984, is a young and promising designer who blends Italian tradition with a modern design approach. After graduating in Industrial Design in 2006 from the prestigious Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, he began working with his father, designer Alberto Meda, and collaborated with leading design brands.
In 2008, Meda moved to London, where he worked alongside designers Ross Lovegrove and Sebastian Bergne. This experience shaped his style and deepened his understanding of advanced materials and technologies. In 2010, he returned to Italy and established his independent studio in Milan, focusing on furniture, lighting, and decorative accessories.
Meda’s designs are characterized by a balance between formal simplicity and technological innovation, with meticulous use of high-quality materials such as wood, metal, and glass. Among his notable collaborations are projects for Molteni&C, where he created collections that fuse Italian tradition with contemporary design.
