Adam Salvi Kamea Devons

Kamea Devons and Adam Salvi combine their rich backgrounds in design and art to create unique glass vessels. Kamea, a graduate of Bezalel’s Industrial Design Department with a master’s degree from London’s Royal College, specializes in research and creation between London and Israel. Adam, a skilled glassblower and manager of Bezalel’s glass workshops, graduated from the institution’s Ceramics and Glass Department. Their collaborative work features a distinctive technique: glass vessels designed within laser-cut iron molds. Drawing inspiration from traditional vessel forms, they interpret them through innovative design language, transforming three-dimensional concepts into two-dimensional iron templates. The glass blown into these molds creates a fascinating dialogue between the defined lines of the iron and the flowing volume of the glass as it breaks freely through open spaces.
