Mark Glezin

Living and creating in Tel Aviv, Glezin is a graduate of the Station Studio whose work is included in the collection of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The inspiration for his paintings comes from observing the world and environment around him. His paintings address existential themes and sometimes include social commentary intended to convey his personal feelings toward the world. Working primarily with oil paints, pastels, and charcoal, Glezin believes that the essence of painting lies not only in the result but also in the process itself and the physicality of the paint and materials.
