Netta Laufer

An artist who explores the impact of artificial, human-made boundaries on animal and plant worlds, Laufer illuminates how animals are affected by human intervention in their habitats, how they adapt to it, or how they challenge it. She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including “Land of Milk and Honey” at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2021). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a Master’s degree in Photography, Video, and New Media from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. Laufer received the 2022 Peresser Award for Young Photographer, leading to a solo exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
