Noa Yafe

A graduate with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Midrasha, Yafe has exhibited at the Herzliya Museum and Bat Yam Museum. She develops a technique she calls “Photo-Dioramas” – works that constantly move between photography and sculpture, between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. The artist uses duplications, reflections, and distortions, playing with lighting, color, and scale to stretch the boundaries of artistic genres. Her images merge into deceptive optical compositions, with three-dimensional elements integrated into architectural structures. Yafe’s “Photo-Dioramas” incorporate mythical and religious symbols from monotheism, paganism, mysticism, and spirituality, with their presence in space being delicate and fragile.
