Ronen Raz
Living and working in Givatayim, Raz began his career in fashion design and served as the head of the Fashion Design Department at Kibbutzim College in Tel Aviv. In his work, he creates hollow leather sculptures that exist on the boundary between living, dead, and inanimate. In his creations, inanimate objects show signs of life, producing connotations of an organic body that is empty, soft, exhausted, and sensual – but above all, human.
