Sofie Berzon MacKie

Living and creating in Kibbutz Be’eri, MacKie immigrated from London, and through her experience of migration and cultural clashes, she performs actions of mapping and defining in her works, aiming to create internal order in contrast to the world’s chaos. Moving beyond the boundaries of photography through collage, artificial intelligence, cutting, manual gluing, and embroidery, she creates additional space that emerges from the two-dimensional. Her work is driven by a sense of the sublime and miraculous, attentive to the spiritual beauty in the world.
