Yonatan Zofy

A graduate of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Zofy reveals hidden qualities and nuances of materials through his artistic engagement, allowing these aspects to come to life in his work. His creations are fundamentally derived from his relationship with the qualities of paper – its fragility, semi-transparency, and thinness serve as the foundation for his artistic exploration. He is the recipient of the Moses Prize for Painting and Drawing and created “Marbe Einaim” – a project featuring conversations with Israeli artists.
