Yulia Frydin

A multidisciplinary artist born in Ukraine, Frydin lives and creates in Tel Aviv and is a graduate of the Midrasha School of Art. She works in watercolor painting, photography, performance, movement research, dance, and somatic practice. In her works, she explores her hybrid identity as a secular woman, Jewish, artist, mother, Soviet immigrant, and Israeli. Motherhood has brought about a transformation in her life and occupies a significant place in her art as a nurturing and inspiring practice.
