Founded in 1984 as a manufacturer of elite furniture. Based on research and values of using innovative materials and tech-forward design, some of their early work includes collaborations with Alessandro Mendini and Philip starck. In 2004, Nino Cerruti purchased most of the company in order to develop its production and utilize it to offer more services in the textile and fashion industry – a purchase that turned out successful. Experience from all sides as well as assigning a new art director and a fresh management team created a base for activity that includes the brand’s heritage and production culture as well as a needed update that goes with the market’s current needs.
