The carpet’s brand CC Tapis was founded by Nelcya and Fabrizio Cantoni that produce contemporary style carpets that are woven by hand. In 2011, the couple moved to Milan, where the brand operated until nowadays. The brand manufacture tailor-made, customized carpets. The carpets are all based on traditional weaving technique by Tibetan artist from Nepal, manufacturing that is sustainable and pays respect to traditional materials and techniques – from hand weaving of the softest wool you can find, washing the cloth and carpets with rainwater and drying it out in the sunshine and more. The carpets are woven from top quality Himalayan wool that is rich in lanolin that gives it strength and lasting quality; from natural silk that is based on bamboo fibers and natural fibers made from a meaty plant and has a rough texture. The all-natural color palate available is over 1200! Colors. The collections are divided to modern-styled collection or collections that give contemporary interpretations to traditional styles signed by leading designers like Patrizia Urquiola, Ludvicca & Roberto Palomba and Martino Gamper.
