Kettal is a manufacturing company for outdoor furniture, a family business that was established in 1966 and since gained a reputation for collections that combines design, quality, performance, and innovation. In the beginning of the 21st century, the brand purchased two companies: Triconfort and IHugonet and together they formed a group of collections working together. The brand has collaborations with the best designers in the international ring: Patrizia Urquiola, Jasper Morrison, Rodolfo Dordoni and more. The brand’s vision is to create functional aesthetic, beautiful items that push boundaries of time, reflects on the current culture, creates solutions for the needs of the modern world and contains creativity, innovation, and technological research. Kettal is proud to offer items that are manufactured in Europe without outsourcing – all in the brand’s factory while maintaining sustainability values – using only wood from certified trees and environment-friendly dye. The headquarters is located in Barcelona and the head factory is in Tarragona, a small beach town near Barcelona – a location that helps management keep an eye on every detail, create local customization and maintain quality assurance. The brand has branches in Barcelona, Paris, London, and Miami. Recently, a couch designed by Doshi Levian under the brand name won the prestige excellence award by Edida.
