A LEGACY
Only 10 years after Angelo Molteni opened his woodworking shop for artisan carpentry in 1934, the shop became a factory with 60 employees. In the 60’s, the company started producing commercially, Molteni joined a few entrepreneurs to create a furniture exhibit in Milan – and the rest is history, it’s now the most important annual event for the design community. The company gained their spot as an elite brand thanks to the quality materials that are carefully used and the superior level of production and creation. The brand’s specialties are modular furniture and storage systems that provides flexible solutions to every room in the house. The brand acquired the rights for manufacturing the drafts of the known architect Gio Ponti a few years ago. In 2016, Vincent Van Duysen, a Belgian architect and designer, started its way as the art director for the Molteni group that also includes DADA kitchens and Unifor office furniture.
