Nicola Gallizia is a multidisciplinary Italian designer with a unique approach that combines warmth, functionality, and sophistication. Inspired by the Milanese tradition and the atmosphere of his hometown, Milan, Gallizia creates spaces and objects characterized by clean lines and rich materials. His designs aim to balance tradition and innovation, giving each project a personal touch that tells a story.
Gallizia studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and, in 1990, began his career as an assistant to the renowned designer Luca Meda. In this role, he was responsible for developing products and brand identity for the prestigious Molteni&C and Dada brands. Starting in 1999, he continued as a consultant for image and product development for the same companies, solidifying his position as a leading designer on the international stage.
In 2003, Gallizia became the art director of Molteni&C, overseeing the design of collections, catalogs, exhibitions, and flagship store interiors. In 2005, he established Studio NG in Milan, specializing in interior design and high-end projects. His studio integrates cultural context, technological innovation, and natural environments, establishing itself as a leader in luxury hospitality design.
Over the years, Gallizia has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Wallpaper award for the DominoNext collection, the ADI Design Index award for the Narciso lamp, and the Archiproducts Design award for the Avignon kitchen.
